It’s Rio Good is rooted in South Texas and built around the things we love most: God, family, fishing, barbecue, and the outdoors. Whether it is a day on the water, carne asada on the pit, or a meal with family and friends, we believe good food is what brings it all together.
What began as Rio Valley Meat grew from a love for competition barbecue and great food. Since 2012, Fred Robles and the team have traveled across the country competing at the highest level, earning more than 100 Grand and Reserve Grand Championships and 11 World BBQ Championships. Those wins mean a lot, but the real reason we cook is the people it brings together.
Today, It’s Rio Good is more than seasoning and sauce. It is the flavor behind a backyard cookout, a family dinner, a fishing trip, a weekend by the pit, or a night around the fire with good friends. Created in South Texas, it is made to help you make food worth gathering around and remind you that life is better when it is shared.
